I got a new video card for my computer that has an HDMI port. Does the type of HDMI cord matter for gaming?

Should I invest in an expensive HDMI cord or just get a cheaper one. Will I notice a difference when gaming?

The video card i got was a SAPPHIRE Vapor-X 100283VXL Radeon HD 5770 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as…|||If you are not the type who would be frequently plugging/unplugging the HDMI connectors to PC or to monitor, a cheap HDMI cord should work fine.

The digital VIDEO signal on the HDMI and DVI ports are similar. It is just that HDMI also carries sound while DVI is purely video signal. So if your monitor has built-in speakers, use HDMI. Otherwise, use DVI and connect external speakers to PC's audio port.
