Video card doesnt work?

i just bought new video card Gigabyte GeForce GT 440 1GB DDR3, 128bit, HDMI, DVI, PCI Express 2.0 and when i start my computer its just black screen nothing,I also have integrated video card.My

motherboard is H61M-D2-B3.so my video card doesnt work or something?|||Well one of them doesn't.. but which one?

When you fitted the new GPU Did you change the VGA Lead...

From Monitor to Motherboard - From Monitor to GPU?

So unplug the VGA Lead and connect it to the GPU.

If the Screen's Black the GPU plugged in is faulty.

Hope it helps :)

P.S: GPU = Graphics Processing Unit.|||Gth :)

|||My first guess would be that you have to disable the on-board graphic card in the BIOS. Most likely find it under Integrated Peripherals. Hope this helps. Good Luck.|||did u plug your monitor into the new video card instead of your onboard video?
